On the dreamlike beach of the Bahia Maimon Bay with shady palm trees. Alternatively
to the bus transfer, you could also book the hotel with taxi transfer up to Puerto
Plata airport.
This is what your accommodation offers:
Club holiday for the whole family. Spacious complex with main building and 1
or 2-storey bungalows in the 50.000 sqm garden. The water sports centre is on
the beach, where you should wear flip-flops. The restaurant has a non-smoking
area, terrace and salon bar with stage. Outside there is a pool restaurant, an
aquatic bar and a 'Bikini' bar. In the garden there are 2 freshwater pools, one
of which with jacuzzi and water mats, children's pool and sun terrace. By the
pool you can also get deckchairs (just like on the beach), bathing towels and
umbrellas free of charge. The hotel also offers a casino, a kiosk and an internet
room (against payment) next to the reception. In the 'Caribbean Street' there
is the fitness room, a wellness centre with treatments such as massage and sauna
(against payment). Moreover, there is a gambling room, pool, hairdresser's, photo
service, jewellery/souvenir shop, doctor's, chemist's at your disposal. The disco
'Pacha' is located between the Club Hotel Riu Mambo and the Club Hotel Riu Merengue.

This is how you will live:
The comfortably furnished American double rooms (RBJ) have 2 single beds (about
1,20 m x 2,00 m), bath/toilet, hair drier, centrally placed air conditioning,
satellite TV, drinks dispenser, mini bar, phone, radio alarm, safety deposit box
and balcony or terrace. The double rooms with view of the sea (RBJM) have the
same fittings.
Larger 3-bed-rooms (TBJ) with 3 beds, 2 of about 1,20 m x 2,00 m - standing together
and one of about 0,95 m x 2,00 m).
The spacious junior suites (SBJ) offer the same fittings, but an extra lounge
and a bidet in the bathroom.
Eating & drinking:
All inclusive: full board, snacks, as well as national alcoholic and non-alcohol
drinks 24 hours. Mini bar, liqueur dispenser. Breakfast buffet with show cooking
or continental breakfast starting with 10 am. For lunch you have the choice between
cold and warm buffets, dishes prepared directly in the restaurant as well as snacks.
In the evenings you can indulge in the cold and warm buffets. Some dishes are
prepared directly in the restaurant. Twice a week theme buffets in the evening.
Alternatively, you can dine in the a-la-carte restaurants, no extra costs: grill/steak
house or the Italian restaurant for specialties (2 mealtimes). Booking needed.
You will have breakfast and dinner in the hotel you booked.
Sports & fitness:
All inclusive: fitness room, 2 tennis hardcourts (floodlit), multipurpose sports
ground, table tennis, pool, beach volleyball, gymnastics, jacuzzi, wind-surfing,
sunfish sailing, kayak, snorkelling equipment (1 hour daily), 1 trial diving in
the pool.
Against payment (external services to be booked on site): PADI/NAUI diving school,
water skiing, Jetski, banana, fishing.
Wellness:

Entertainment:
Entertainment programme throughout the day, evening shows, live music, RIU animation,
