Right on the beach of the wonderful bay Bahia de Maimon in the 30.000 sqm large garden. 9 km to Puerto Plata. Transfer time from Puerto Plata airport about 50 minutes (about 25 km).
Fittings:
The hotel belongs to the large resort and consists of 3 Riu hotels. In the arrival hall there is the reception with comfortable suite. Internet room (against payment), kiosk, buffet restaurant with non-smoking area, salon bar and beach bar. In the 'Caribbean Street' you can find a gambling room, fitness room, doctor's, the 'Renova Spa' wellness centre, photo service, hairdresser's, chemist's, boutique, jeweller's and a souvenir shop. Outside the hotel, amidst a tropical garden, a beautiful freshwater pool panorama with 2 pools and a separate children's pool, sun terrace and a pool restaurant for specialties. Rooms:
American double rooms in 1 or 2-storey buildings with telephone, satellite TV, safety deposit box, mini bar, liqueur dispenser, centrally placed air conditioning, fan, bath/toilet and balcony or terrace. The rooms have (if required) a camp bed and can be booked for 2 little children. The Junior suites have an extra optically separated salon, hairdrier and 2 TVs. Double rooms can be booked for single use without extra charge.
Sports:
The water sport centre lies directly on the beach close to the disco 'Pacha'. Water skiing, banana boat, diving school (PADI and NAUI certificate) and Jetski against payment.

The SOLINO children's club offers in an idyllically lying palm groove everything that makes your heart beat faster. The SOLINOS and Maxis are warmly welcome to play, paint, model and much more in the SOLINO children's club house or the close-by playground, by the pool or on the sand beach situated a few steps away. Cool action among others: dinner for kids - SOLINOS Sport Club, T-Shirt Factory (against payment), Mottotage, Clubrally, SOLINO children's disco.
All inclusive catering:
Breakfast buffet with wholemeal products. Continental breakfast between 10 and 12. Cold and warm buffets for lunch as well as snacks. In the evening you can enjoy the well-known warm and cold Riu buffets as well as starters and desserts. Some dishes can be additionally prepared on the spot. The hotel invites you to a theme buffet twice a week. Optional dinner without extra charge: Italian cuisine and grill/steak house (booking needed). Snacks, national alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks until midnight. The 24-hour bar in Riu Bachata is also available. Regularly filled up mini bar and liqueur dispenser.
